The GBR LD Coalition recently met to begin planning the next C W Austin Learning Disabilities Conference.  The dates for the VIRTUAL conference will be February 6 -13, 2021 featuring pre-recorded presentations by volunteer speakers from our community.  We are just in the beginning stages so I can’t give you a lot of details but our registration site is up on our website www.ldhelp.org.  If you have students with learning disabilities in your life, you know how devastating the pandemic chaos is for their education and this conference will help you provide the best path for their education and mental health.  Once again the event will be free and in response to the pandemic this year we will waive professional development fees for this conference as a service to our community.  We are working toward offering CEU’s for LPC, SLP, Social Workers, educators, parents, foster parents and advocates.  Be on the lookout for more details in the future!
